The Meeting

On a Saturday evening in June the whole hill squeezes between the bookshop's shelves and argues: the baker, the neighbour who has hunted for a flat for a year, the bike courier, the old printer. The next morning Odile puts out coffee cups and asks each tenant to vote with one.
